The program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing under the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme, a Federal Government initiative to provide companionship, social support or friendship to those individuals who are socially isolated or are at risk of social isolation.

- Residential Aged Care Visiting - volunteers who are dog owners visit residential aged care facilities with their dogs (all breeds) to provide social contact and companionship for residents on a "One on One" basis
