Disability SA’s individualised funding program

A new way for people with disability to access services

With the roll-out of DisabilityCare Australia and Disability SA’s Individualised Funding Program, more people are exercising control over their disability support budgets. This has increased the demand for information about the range of goods and services available to purchase.

is a new initiative launched by the South Australian Department for Communities and Social Inclusion. It is a free online source of centralised information to better connect people with a range of disability service providers in South Australia.

The role of is comparable with e-Marketplace systems such as TripAdvisor and is the first site of its type launched in South Australia. Service providers are encouraged to utilise  as a free marketing tool by establishing and maintaining their profile page. This allows services to promote themselves on the site at no cost.

provides a variety of search functions. It can also be used to share feedback on services and read the feedback posted by others. Service providers can respond online to reviews. Other helpful resources will be added to the site as they become available. These functions seek to assist site users to make better informed decisions when choosing a service.

People with disabilities, their families, service providers and community members are encouraged to visit and contribute to its ongoing development as an online resource of specialised information.
