Come along on the weekend of the 21 and the 22 of February for Willunga Recreation Park's annual Chilli Fest!
The 2 day festival features market stalls selling chilli plants and hot sauces, presentations and cooking demonstrations, live music, numerous competitions, as well as a wide variety of food and drink options, including craft beer and local wine.
One of a many competitons is the fabled Hot Hat Competition. Contestants are merely asked to "bring your hat, your creativity, and your community spirit". Prizes are up for grabs for the hottest hats, and kids can be rewarded for the "coolest creation".
