Are you ready for all the fun of the Prospect Spring Fair? It’s gearing up to be as much fun as previous years with a great mix of food, fun and entertainment for the whole family.
This year there’s a new event on the Main Stage “The Inaugural Prospect Fair Pie Eating Contest”. and have teamed up to challenge 10 locals to Eat pie – Hands Free! Simply be the fastest to eat your cream pie but no hands allowed!
Up for the challenge? Go to the City of Prospect webpage, click on Spring Fair Prospect Pie Eating Competition and sign up. Entries close midnight October 6 2025 and successful competitors will be notified of their inclusion no later than Friday 10 October 2025. If you’re chosen as one of the successful competitors you could win a $100 voucher to enjoy at Muratti on Prospect Rd.
A crowd favourite “Dachshund Mini Dash” is ready to race!
Your chance to see if your beloved dachshund is the fastest over 30 metres on the day. Starting at 11.30am, there will be four heats, a semi-final and then the Grand Final.
Sign up on the City of Prospect webpage, click on Spring Fair Prospect, Dachshund Mini Dash. Spots are limited so register now. Entries close midnight October 6 2025 and successful competitors will be notified of their inclusion no later than Friday 10 October 2025.

- Wild Awakenings community mural with artist : An explosion of life begins underground; seeds splitting open, roots twisting, fungi sprouting, while above, creatures roam freely through new growth of a seemingly magical land. This mural reflects spring as a time of growth and wild expansion
- Cardboard Creations with – contribute to building the epic cardboard castle that will become Broadview Manor
