ANZAC DAY 25 April 2025

ANZAC Day held on the 25th April marks the anniversary of the Australian and New Zealand forces landing at Gallipoli during the first World War. The day serves as an occasion to reflect on war and commemorate those who have died in military and peacekeeping operations.

Anzac Day commemorative services will be held across Australia with the RSL - Returned & Services League of Australia (SA Branch) delivering  across South Australia with information on their  webpage including:

  • Dawn Service
    Commencing from 5.30am, 6am, 8am or various times/locations

  • Anzac Day Commemorative March
    Commencing at 9.30am
    Corner of North Tce & Gawler Place, Adelaide SA 5000. The commemorative march proceeds down King William Road and across the River Torrens, with veterans, families and the public welcome to catch up afterwards on the Torrens Parade Ground.
     
  • Cross of Sacrifice Remembrance Service
    Commencing immediately after the Anzac Day March concludes
